The NUJ is calling a Jobs Summit to co-ordinate our response to the cuts scything through all areas of the media.

Workplace reps who have successfully fought job losses will be explaining how they did it – so we can build on those achievements and co-ordinate our response across the industry.

The NUJ has today renewed calls on the government to act to close down a neo-nazi website which urges supporters to target journalists.

The union has also accused the British National Party of “staggering hypocrisy” after it claimed the publication of lists of its members breached their privacy.
